ServiceNow Platform Administrator

Location: Birmingham

The role is to support the mission‑critical ServiceNow platform used across the organisation, maintaining platform stability, availability and service quality, and supporting teams and stakeholders to resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities

* Perform day‑to‑day administration of the ServiceNow platform, including instance management, access control and instance health monitoring.
* Maintain platform configurations, including workflows, forms, UI policies and business rules.
* Contribute to stakeholder communication, issue resolution and service improvement initiatives.
* Work closely with Product Owners, Engineers and Architects to deliver platform enhancements.
* Proactively identify and resolve platform issues, defects and performance bottlenecks.
* Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency within ITSM and platform processes.


Skills and Experience

* Proven experience administering ServiceNow in an enterprise environment.
* Understanding of core modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CMDB and Service Request.
* Working knowledge of platform configuration (flows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies).
* Familiarity with incident, problem, change and request management processes.
* Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
