Job Title : Clinical or Forensic Psychologist Banding : Band 8a Location: Grimsby Working Hours : 2–3 days per week Salary : Competitive hourly pay - private sector Contract: 3-month locum with a view to extend Pulse is currently seeking a Locum Clinical or Forensic Psychologist to join a private service in Grimsby. This Band 8a opportunity is ideal for experienced psychologists looking for flexible part-time work in a specialist service supporting individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism who present with complex mental health needs. This role covers both North East Lincolnshire and North Lincolnshire, offering a varied caseload and the chance to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team. This is a locum contract for 3 months, with a strong possibility of extension. Responsibilities In this role, you will: Deliver specialist psychological assessments and evidence-based interventions. Lead and coordinate psychological services across the locality. Provide supervision and consultation to non-psychologist colleagues. Manage complex cases and contribute to risk assessments and care planning. Chair case reviews and contribute to service development and policy. Communicate complex psychological information with empathy and clarity. Support service users in emotionally demanding environments, promoting recovery and stability.
