Event Manager | Watford | Up to £36,000 depending on experience
The Luxury Picnic Company is looking for an Events Manager to join our team. We have built a very strong reputation in the market over the past four years and are the go-to company for luxury picnic events in London.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and creative Events Manager to join our team on a full time basis. There is also an opportunity to work across another brand of ours which operates all year round and involves a lot of indoor events, trade shows and other exciting projects.
As the Events Manager for The Luxury Picnic Company you will be responsible for everything relating to our events division including:
• Picnic Events for both B2B and B2C clients
• Indoor Picnic Events
• External Events for both B2B and B2C clients
A few examples of what your responsibilities will include:
• Fielding all events enquiries, quoting for the different projects and following-up with the clients
• Liaising with the clients from beginning to end on their events, ensuring all their questions are answered, demands are met and the experience is a wonderful one for all attending
• Planning, purchasing and executing for all events – this includes coming up with creative design and decor ideas for the events, ensuring all the correct stock is bought and packed for each event and that it is set up beautifully on the day
• Building a seasonal events team to work alongside you to deliver the events during the busy summer months
• Day-to-day management of your events team
• Day-to-day management of our storage facility including stocktakes, arranging cleaning and laundering and keeping everything organised
• Creating improved events processes and procedures to ensure that all events runs smoothly
• Sourcing new and exciting suppliers for the events
• Working alongside the chefs to come up with gourmet menus that are unlike anything else in the market
• Pre plan for seasonal events
• Liaising with the accounts division to invoice clients
• Identify new business ideas for our events division
• Work with existing partners to ensure we are capitalising on all events opportunities
• Promote the event space and handle all bookings for this area
• Handle all catering enquiries and liaise with the chefs
• Work alongside the business owners to achieve the necessary events revenue and report on all ROI generated from events
• Attending all events and ensuring they are setup correctly, run smoothly and are packed away afterwards
As you can see, this is a busy and varied role that requires someone who is happy juggling many different tasks and events at any given time, as well as, someone who has lots of creativity and holds their work to a high standard. You need to be incredibly organised, have a strong attention to detail, a love for food and the hospitality industry and a great repour with clients. We are all about building long-lasting relationships with our clients and working with them in the other divisions of our business.
Salary: negotiable based on experience
Working Days and Hours: Your working days and hours will vary each week. We will put together a rota but we do require a huge level of flexibility. Please only apply if you are happy working weekends, evenings and longer hours than normal 9-5 jobs. You will be compensated accordingly for additional days worked.
