Are you ready to make a significant impact in a dynamic environment? We’re on the lookout for a Sub Agent to join our Water Retain Barrier (WRB) team at the Plymouth, Devonport Royal Dockyard. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a redevelopment project at a Royal Navy site!
Location & Hours
Location: Plymouth, Devonport Royal Dockyard - Enjoy the flexibility of remote working with occasional office visits.
Hours: 45 hours per week (07:30 – 17:00) - We offer some flexibility on hours, just let us know your preferences!

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Sub Agent, you will be a key player in our Water Retain Barrier team, ensuring construction excellence in a live MOD facility. Your daily responsibilities will include:
* Leading and mentoring team members while upholding high standards in health, safety, and environmental practices.
* Communicating effectively with management, technical specialists, clients, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.
* Managing resources and monitoring delivery against agreed programmes, developing solutions to minimize potential impacts.
* Ensuring all documentation, risk assessments, and test plans are properly maintained and adhered to.
* Supporting the agent with cost management systems and commercial reporting.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you:
* Hold a degree, HND, HNC, or NVQ in Construction/Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
* Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach.
* Are detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
* Have experience in construction/civils operations with SMSTS/SSSTS certification.
* Are enthusiastic about working in a team environment while maintaining a caring approach to colleagues.
