The Role
The Curriculum Administrator is a vital part of the College's Administration Team, supporting learners and staff throughout the academic year. This role is crucial in helping the team achieve its goals aligned with the College's vision.
You will provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients, be aligned with a specific academic department, and handle curriculum admin liaison. You will develop skills to cover other roles within the office.
Your responsibilities include monitoring student absence and behaviour, working with staff to cleanse data for funding, inputting timetables into the college system, arranging meetings, minute-taking, and liaising with external partners to promote the College.
You will support Classroom Based Learning, Work Based Learning, Employability, Community, and ESOL provision, and participate in events like Awards Evenings and Graduation.
Additional duties include supporting the switchboard/reception as needed. The role demands high accuracy, organizational skills, flexibility, and a proactive, customer-focused approach to help increase enrolments, ensure data accuracy, and enhance the College's reputation.
Skills and Qualifications
* Experience in a similar administration role, preferably in further education. Knowledge of computer systems; experience with ProSolution is advantageous.
* High-level customer service skills, effective communication methods, and strong interpersonal skills, with demonstrable examples.
* Level 2 English and Maths (or equivalent), and a Level 2 in Business Administration or Customer Service, or working towards Level 3.
