We’re hiring on behalf of a client looking for a motivated, hands-on individual to join their shop floor team. This is a full-time, on-site role that combines practical shop floor responsibilities with ownership of training documentation and delivery. You’ll be working directly on the floor while also ensuring your team is trained, compliant, and confident.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Actively support daily shop floor operations
• Create, update, and maintain clear training materials and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Deliver in-person, hands-on training to new and existing team members
• Work with team leaders to identify training needs and close knowledge gaps
• Ensure health & safety and quality standards are communicated and followed
• Support ongoing improvement initiatives across the floor
• Maintain accurate training records and documentation
What You’ll Bring:
• Proven experience in a similar operational/training role
• Strong documentation and IT skills (MS Word, Excel; PowerPoint a bonus)
• Confidence in delivering face-to-face training and coaching
• Clear communicator with strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• High attention to detail and commitment to consistent standards
