SEN Teaching Assistant – Camden. Are you a teaching assistant looking to gain further experience working with and supporting children with additional needs? Create Education are looking to speak with enthusiastic people for opportunities working with SEN students in a school in the London Borough of Camden. The role is based within a primary school in Camden that caters for KS1 and KS2 students with mixed learning levels and has a track record for working with SEN students. The successful applicant would ideally be experienced with or willing to work with ASD, ADHD, SEMH and other kinds of challenging behaviour. The role will be working with students who need extra support throughout the day. The placement will be for the rest of the academic year, starting immediately. It is a fantastic opportunity to support students who need it the most and to further your career in the mental health and SEN field. There will be potential to move into a permanent position.

Person Specification
* If you are a recent Graduate in any discipline – school is particularly interested in speaking with Psychology, Sociology and Criminology Graduates.
* Enthusiastic, Reliable and Empathetic
* Hard working individual and dependable person
Responsibilities
* Assist in the educational and social development of students with special educational needs (SEN).
* Support teachers in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for children, particularly those with autism.
* Foster a positive learning environment through effective communication and engagement with students.
* Provide care and supervision for toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being during activities.
* Collaborate with educational staff to enhance teaching strategies and support student learning.
