Applications are invited for a Clinical Fellow post in Interventional Cancer Imaging, for a period of 12 months. The directorate is accepting applications for candidates looking at starting immediately or in December 2025.
Applicants should hold full GMC registration. You will join a team comprised of 26 consultants, with additional Consultant vacancies. The department is also a training center with up to three rotational trainees at any given time. There will be opportunities to supplement income by undertaking additional, paid cross-sectional imaging sessions.
Applicants should have completed their general radiological training requirements, obtained FRCR, and be within 6 months of CCST or post-CCST. The post is designed to provide specific education and training in Interventional imaging, particularly Interventional Radiology, with access to online modules, cases, and protected reporting sessions. Further experience will be gained in specialist MR imaging, catering to various tertiary subspecialist MDTs.
The associated job plan is provisionally split into:
1. 32 hours/week of direct clinical care, including interventional imaging, CT, MR, and PET-CT scanning.
2. 8 hours/week for research and administration.
Sub-specialty interests are welcomed. Applicants should have a specific interest in oncological imaging and clinical research. The department actively encourages audit and research activities.
