Potential position upon completion of the apprenticeship.
Responsibilities
* Training Administration
* Booking health & safety training for employees, liaising with external training providers, and ensuring employees receive the relevant joining information.
* Keeping accurate records of all training booked and completed, including costs of training, on the training register.
* Keeping the training management software up to date with correct training records and certificates when training has been completed.
* Support with reporting on training needs for monthly training meetings.
* HR Administration
* Support new starter onboarding and induction activities
* Maintain accurate employee records (e.g. new starter paperwork, absence recording)
* Updating information on employee database and generating reports as required
* General administration - including employment referencing, vetting checks such as DBS/ Experian/ Airport permits, driving license information as required
* Support the running of monthly Occupational health clinics for site-based employees, by liaising with the occupational health provider, coordinating appointment bookings and sending reminders
* Assisting with educational outreach activities such as career fairs and college visits to promote careers in the industry
* Assisting with social value administration/ activities as required
* Other Duties
* The HR team is part of the central Group functions, which also includes Administration, Health & Safety, and Accounts. We work collaboratively and support one another as needed. In addition to the day-to-day responsibilities outlined above, you will also be expected to remain flexible and take on tasks outside of these areas when required to meet the needs of the business
Level 3 Certificate in Human Resource Practice. Workplace and workshop delivery.
8.00am - 5.00pm, Monday - Friday.
