About the role:
We are seeking a full time Planning Technician to join our friendly Capability Development Documentation team based in Doncaster.
The role’s key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
* Carrying out administrative tasks under the supervision and guidance of a Maintenance / Production Project Lead.
* To support the day-to-day running of the Production / Maintenance Organisations
* Adhere to the procedures within the Production and Maintenance Organisation Expositions
* To ensure all tasks for a particular job are identified, planned, and resourced.
* Controlling data and documentation.
* Conversant in Microsoft Excel/ word.
* Creating work instructions for Technicians & compiling work packs.
* Experience in understanding technical drawings.
About you:
We are looking for candidates who are willing to learn and keen to progress within a Production and Maintenance Organisation environment. This role is an excellent opportunity for somebody who has a methodical mind set with a passion for electrical or mechanical engineering in an aviation environment.
The following skills, knowledge and experience are essential:
* Experience of working in a similar role within a mechanical/electrical engineering environment.
* Be able to interpret and understand technical drawings
* Excellent IT and communication skills
* Be pro-active and comfortable working in a busy environment.
* Valid UK Driving Licence.
