An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Solicitor to join a Legal 500 ranked Dispute Resolution team based in the Shrewsbury office.
This role is ideally suited to newly qualified solicitors up to four years’ PQE who are looking to build a long term career specialising in commercial dispute resolution. You will work on a broad range of high quality matters with the support and guidance of an experienced and well regarded team.
The Role
You will:
* Manage a varied caseload of commercial dispute resolution matters under supervision, including contractual disputes, shareholder disputes, professional negligence, debt recovery, and property litigation
* Assist senior solicitors and partners on complex and high value commercial and property litigation matters
* Build strong working relationships with colleagues, clients, and external providers
* Develop and maintain technical knowledge within commercial and property dispute resolution
* Contribute to business development activities, including networking and article preparation

* Newly qualified up to four years’ PQE
* Commercial dispute resolution experience preferred, though for NQs this is advantageous rather than essential, at least one litigation seat during training would be expected
* Confident, personable, and commercially aware
* Strong client focused approach with excellent communication skills
* Able to manage workload effectively and work to deadlines
* High attention to detail and proactive mindset
* Keen to engage in marketing and business development activities
* Ambitious and motivated to develop a long term career in disputes

Salary: £45,000 – £54,000+ plus bonus
