Job Summary
Are you an experienced Phlebotomist looking for a rewarding role in a friendly and supportive Primary Care Network? We are looking for a caring and skilled phlebotomist to join our team, working across Healthier South Wirral Primary Care Network.
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients in a professional and compassionate manner, ensuring patient safety.
Essential skills must include:
* Previous experience in Phlebotomy to Level 3 standard
* Perform venepuncture to adults and children
* Must have own transport and valid driving licence to visit housebound patients and have the ability to work at more than one site
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Compassionate and patient-focused approach
* Competent in using IT systems with knowledge of ICE and Emis (although training will be provided)
* Working to high standards of confidentiality and Infection Control
