As Assistant Principal, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the school. You will work closely with the Principal and Vice Principal to maintain high standards of behaviour, drive academic attainment, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
This is a multi-faceted leadership role that balances strategic oversight with a hands-on presence across the school. The successful candidate will lead by example, inspiring staff and students alike to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure the Academy achieves the objectives and targets set out in the Academy Development Plan.
* Work on ‘Deeps’ areas as assigned by the Academy Principal.
* Embed all elements of the ‘Deeps’ within the day-to-day workings of the Academy.
* Promote the ‘Every Child Matters’ agenda and promote equal opportunities at all levels of Academy activity.
* Constantly promote the personal development of all staff and participate in development, management activities and research.
* Be accountable for student progression for allocated classes and be responsible for effective classroom management.
* Strive to deliver outstanding lessons and deliver interactive lessons with students.
* Work to student targets and ensure that progress is tracked through a range of strategies.
* Take part in coaching and mentoring programmes to support colleagues and develop own practice
