Account Manager – Semiconductors – Scotland
An exciting opportunity to join a growing and innovative company focused on compound semiconductor devices, providing customised chipsets for silicon photonics, laser arrays, and optical amplifiers.
The successful Account Manager will be an integral part of the sales team, managing existing foundry customer accounts, cultivating and enhancing client relationships, ensuring excellent service, sustainable growth, and partnership objectives. You will develop a deep understanding of customer needs and represent their voice internally.
Candidates should be degree qualified in engineering or business, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment. Previous experience in account or project management is highly advantageous, and experience in photonics or semiconductor wafer fabrication is preferred.
Account Manager Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, or a related business field
* Proven experience in semiconductor wafer fabrication and/or photonics
* Account management or project management experience
* Proactive, organized, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
* Results-oriented with a sense of urgency and commitment to quality
* A team player with energy, drive, and a passion for achieving targets
* Comfortable in an environment characterized by an advanced start-up culture
