We're expanding our team and looking for Senior Residential Support Workers to join our solo home in Lancaster. This is a unique setting designed to provide tailored, therapeutic care for a young person who needs focused support and stability.
About the Role
As a Senior Support Worker, you’ll be a role model and leader on shift, supporting both your colleagues and the young person in your care. You'll be part of a close-knit, supportive team that helps with everything from daily routines to life-changing experiences.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Building meaningful, trusting relationships with the young person and professionals
Supporting the care plan and helping the young person achieve their goals
Leading and guiding junior team members during shifts
Promoting a safe, nurturing, and positive home environment
Encouraging development, independence, and education
Keeping accurate records and maintaining professional standards
Taking part in sleep-ins as part of a consistent shift pattern What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for compassionate, committed, and resilient people who are ready to take the next step in their career.
Essential:
Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People (or currently working towards it)
Experience working in a children’s residential care setting
Some team-leading or supervisory experience
A full UK driving licence
