Meraki Talent is working in collaboration with one of the UKs largest Chartered Accountants on the position of Private Client Tax Director.
As the Private Client Tax Director, you will be responsible for providing high-quality tax advice to clients, including high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, and business owners.

The firm provides all traditional disciplines you would expect of a large CA Practice such as Audit, Business Services/Advisory (Accounts), Corporate Finance, Payroll Bureau, and Tax. The Tax department has had a particularly busy year over the past 12 months with tremendous growth of the PCT portfolio across the firm.
The Role:
You will lead a mixed experienced team consisting of both junior and experienced Tax professionals. The setup includes Assistants, Assistant Managers, Managers, and Senior Managers. As Director, you will be expected to manage the Management team in a way that not only services clients but also enables junior team members to flourish, grow, and eventually become managers of tomorrow.
* Manage and lead a team of tax professionals in delivering private client tax advice and compliance services.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent service and identifying opportunities for value-added services.
* Provide technical tax advice on issues including income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and trust taxation.
* Identify and manage tax risks within the private client portfolio.
* Monitor changes in tax legislation and communicate their impact to clients and colleagues.
* Participate in business development activities, including attending events, presenting to clients, and growing the private client tax practice.
Experience:
* Highly experienced Tax professional, operating at Manager grade or above.
* CTA/ATT or CA qualified.
* Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
* Business development experience and a history of identifying and converting new business opportunities.
* Proven experience in providing private client tax advice and compliance services.
* Strong technical knowledge of UK taxation, especially related to private clients.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
