We are currently recruiting for a Regional Sales Manager to join the team ideally based in the North of Scotland (Aberdeenshire, Highlands & Islands).
As a Regional Sales Manager, reporting to the Managing Director you will be responsible for helping to develop and implement an effective regional sales strategy alongside the team. This will allow you to be fully motivated and have the ability to fully focus on delivering maximum revenue.
This is an exciting role that requires an experienced and successful sales person, someone who can demonstrate selling with passion, confidence, credibility and focus.
You will need proven successful sales experience within the industry, and a flair for building relationship with senior management, be analytically strong and have the ability of putting strategic vision into practice.
This role is covering the North of Scotland and will also require meetings at our Head Office as well as attendance at industry events and exhibitions throughout Europe.
Responsibilities include:
* To develop and maintain customer relationships to win business for the region
* To identify and progress opportunities for new lines of business, including the identification of new growth sectors & customers, in accordance with the business development strategy
* Review and maintain pricing data
* Gather customer and market data to implement into a strategy to support customer requirements
* To be the point of liaison between the suppliers and customers to address delivery, new product, and supply, and any other related issues, and to ensure these are communicated to the relevant person(s)
The ideal candidate will have/be:
* Extensive experience of strategic sales management within a plant and/or equipment hire environment
* Excellent analytical ability and use of data to develop both tactical and strategic responses
* Ability to prioritise and maintain deadlines
* Excellent upward and downward communication skills with the ability to deliver easy and difficult messages with professionalism
