Veterinary Assistant

Schedule: 10-hour shifts | Full-Time | Rotating Saturday mornings
Pay: $15–$17/hour
Pfister Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our supportive, team-oriented practice. We are a full-service animal hospital offering medical care, grooming, boarding, and rehabilitation—all in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
* Assist veterinarians and technicians in exams and procedures
* Safely restrain patients and document vital signs
* Collect and run lab samples (blood, fecal, urine)
* Take radiographs and assist with surgery/dental prep
* Maintain hospital cleanliness and equipment
* Perform basic treatments (nail trims, ear cleanings, etc.)
* Support client communication and medical record accuracy
What We’re Looking For
* Veterinary Assistant experience preferred
* Strong work ethic, reliability, and team mindset
* Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
* Willingness to learn and grow in veterinary medicine
