Care Home Manager Location: Redwood House (Kennedy Care Group), Broughty Ferry, Dundee (DD5 3AL) Salary: £45,000 per annum Pension & Benefits Contract: Full-Time, Permanent Are you an experienced, compassionate, and dynamic care leader looking to manage a beautiful residential home in the heart of Broughty Ferry? The Role As Care Home Manager, you will take full operational responsibility for the day-to-day management of Redwood House. You will lead a dedicated team to ensure the highest standards of safety, wellbeing, and compliance in line with Care Inspectorate guidelines. Key Responsibilities: Operational Leadership: Provide strong day-to-day management of the home, promoting a positive, supportive culture for staff and residents. Regulatory Excellence: Maintain full compliance with all Care Inspectorate requirements, Scottish legislation, and health and safety standards. Team Development: Oversee staffing levels, recruitment, training, SSSC registrations, and performance management to build a high-performing team. Financial Management: Manage budgets effectively, monitoring occupancy levels and resources to meet financial targets. Stakeholder Relationships: Build strong, trusting partnerships with residents, relatives, social work departments, and healthcare professionals. What We Offer Competitive salary of £45,000. About You Essential Requirements: Proven experience as a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, or Senior Leader within a residential care setting. Strong working knowledge of Scottish adult social care regulations and Care Inspectorate standards. Registered (or eligible to register) with the SSSC . A full, clean driving licence (beneficial for community/stakeholder engagement). Excellent communication and organisational skills with a strongly collaborative approach. Desirable: SVQ Level 4 / Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or currently working towards it). Experience managing a service with positive Care Inspectorate grades. Strong knowledge of dementia care and complex elderly care needs. Closing date for applications is 15th July 2026 .
