Logistics People are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers/HGV Drivers/LGV Class 1 Drivers/LGV Drivers/Class 1 Drivers working on an Ad Hoc – Temporary basis at our Fowler Welch Evesham depot.

* Ad Hoc – Temporary Shifts Available

About this role:
* Refrigerated work – You will be transporting goods that need to be kept in a chilled trailer, at a specific temperature. Full training will be provided when operating a chilled vehicle.
* Trunking – You will be driving on a regular route, including long haul transportation of goods between distribution hubs.
* Store Delivery – Transporting various types of goods from location to stores.
* General haulage – Transporting various types of goods from location to location.
* Manual handling – This involves physically lifting, carrying, and moving goods as needed during loading and unloading operations.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to ensure roadworthiness.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and other necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
* Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to health and safety regulations.
About You:
* You should hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence and have a minimum of 12 months HGV Class 1 driving experience.
* No more than 6 points and no DD/DR Code convictions.
* Hold a current valid DCPC & Tacho cards.
* Understand and able to comply with Driver’s hours and WTD legislation.
* Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and report defects correctly.
* Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements.
