This is an exciting opportunity for people with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills to work in a fast-paced environment over both Finance and Project Management functional disciplines. The role offers the opportunity to use existing Finance knowledge to broaden your experience in a major change programme. The SEO role will be responsible for co-ordinating activity while supporting business change and implementation across Finance process areas. You will be an advocate for the changes the programme is looking to deliver and be responsible for building and maintaining strong working relationships both within DWP and across Synergy. Responsibilities include: Work closely with the Subject Matter Experts to co-ordinate the implementation of the Synergy solution across DWP. Build and maintain strong effective relationships with stakeholders and colleagues to confidently represent, challenge, influence and negotiate positive outcomes and solutions. Identify, plan and successfully implement change delivery activity. Prioritise, change, adapt, iterate and improve at pace, responding to changing priorities. Locations You will be asked for your preferences for up to 3locations, these will tell us where you would prefer to work if you are successful. Hybrid working This job role may be suitable for hybrid working, which is where an employee works part of the week in their DWP office and part of the week from home. This is a voluntary, non-contractual arrangement and your office will be your contractual place of work. The number of days that anyone will be able to work at home will be determined primarily by business need, but personal circumstances and other relevant circumstances will also be taken into account. This role can only be delivered from the UK. Person specification Candidates should be able to demonstrate the following Essential Criteria: Lead Criteria Proven ability of working within a team to lead and support people through cultural and transformational change. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messages for the audience and effectively engage with and influence stakeholders. The ability to work constructively, collaboratively and diplomatically across organisational boundaries. Experience and/or knowledge of working with Software as a Service cloud system. Things you need to know Selection process details This vacancy is using Success Profiles (opens in a new window), and will assess your Behaviours, Strengths and Experience. Sift stage As part of the application process, you will be asked to complete a Personal Statement of no more than 1250 words. The sift panel will use your Personal Statement to assess your skills and experience against the Essential Criteria listed for this position.
