AJ Chambers are currently supporting a well-established accountancy firm based in Milton Keynes that is seeking a Client Manager due to continued expansion.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
* Provide strategic oversight, mentoring, and management for a small team and assigned client portfolio.
* Maintain high standards of compliance work while fostering strong client relationships.
* Develop team capability to support business growth and succession planning.
* Work collaboratively with Partners and Directors to support client delivery and wider strategic objectives, including service excellence, operational efficiency, and staff development.
* Identify training needs, performance gaps, or resourcing challenges, working closely with HR and Learning & Development.
Operational Oversight & Compliance
* Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant delivery of accounts, tax, VAT, and other statutory services.
* Monitor progress against internal and external deadlines, service level agreements, and client expectations.
* Promote effective use of internal systems, particularly Salesforce, to enhance visibility, efficiency, and accountability.
* Champion quality assurance processes and support the resolution of complex technical or client issues.
Client Management & Relationship Leadership
* Work alongside Partners and Directors to lead key client relationships, delivering value-added compliance and advisory services.
* Attend and contribute to strategic client meetings, providing insight on financial and operational matters.
* Support business development by nurturing existing client relationships and identifying opportunities for additional services.
Requirements
* Fully qualified ACCA or ICAEW (minimum 3 years post-qualification experience)
* Proven experience in people management and leadership
* Based in Milton Keynes, with willingness to travel to other sites as required
