The Agency Coordinator (AC) is primarily responsible for prospecting new customers independently and meeting with current customers to sell insurance products within a specific geographic area. The AC also supports the delivery of sales objectives for the assigned area.
Additionally, the AC assists in identifying and appointing new independent agents, supporting them during sales calls, presentations, and business setup.
Responsibilities:
1. Individual and Group Sales:
* Generate new customers and sales through field prospecting, referrals, leads, target marketing, direct contact, and existing policyholders.
* Build customer relationships and address needs and concerns.
* Meet at least 75% of personal production targets and sales standards to remain affiliated.
1. Sales Presentations:
* Knowledge of company products.
* Efficiently present sales materials.
* Demonstrate the company's sales process effectively.
* Handle customer service calls or refer to appropriate channels.
2. Agent Field Training:
* Train and accompany assigned independent agents as needed.
* Support new agents in understanding the sales process.
* Assist agents with planning and appointment setting.
* Mentor and coach established agents during sales visits.
* Report operational issues promptly.
3. Entrepreneurship: Demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit to build an independent agency.
4. Sales System Execution: Meet or exceed sales goals consistently.
5. Effective Communication: Maintain professional verbal and written communication, emphasizing personal brand value.
6. Goal Setting: Show personal initiative and goal-oriented behavior.
Obtaining a Life, Accident, and Health license is required prior to appointment.
