Production Operative – Stevenage
Newstaff Employment is hiring a reliable and detail-oriented Production Operative in Stevenage to join a busy manufacturing facility. This role plays a key part in supporting smooth and efficient production processes, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.
Location: Stevenage
Salary: £13.00 per hour
Working Hours: Full-time (shift details to be confirmed)
Job Type: Temporary with opportunity to go permanent

1. Operate production machinery in line with standard operating procedures
2. Assemble and pack products to meet production targets
3. Carry out regular quality checks to ensure high standards are maintained
4. Perform basic equipment checks and report any faults or issues
5. Work closely with team members to improve production efficiency
6. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
7. Follow all health and safety regulations at all times
8. Assist with training new production staff when required
Essential Skills & Experience
9. Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment (preferred but not essential)
10. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
11. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
12. Good problem-solving skills
13. Reliable, punctual, and team-focused attitude
