Master / Diagnostic technician required to join a successful independent garage.Salary will be up to £55k depending on experience and qualifications.We require someone with extensive experience in automotive mechanics and diagnostics, which would involve vehicle repairs and servicing across various makes. Extra training would be provided to the right candidate subject to contract. We need someone who has a desire to continue to learn new skills, staying up to date with the constant changing automotive technology. Also someone who can oversee, pass on their knowledge & knowThey will work alongside a very experienced senior tech and a team of three junior techs. We have two front of house one managing the workshop & the other dealing with the enquiries, quotes and admin duties. We have a clean, modern heated workshop, very well equipped & constantly updating with the latest tools.As a Vehicle Technician you will be required to undertake all levels of vehicle repairs on all makes, from servicing, cam belts, wet belts to engine work. Working on your own initiative to carry out and repair from fault analysis to completion.Having an MOT licence would be of benefit. EV level 2-3 a benefit. New training and technical qualifications will be encouraged.Monday to Friday 8.30-6pmWeekends off20 days paid Holiday plus bank holidaysThe role:* Diagnose vehicle problems.
