SEND Teaching Assistant - Primary School, Stratford-upon-Avon
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join our supportive primary school team. This role focuses on supporting children with Autism and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), helping them thrive in their learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
Support pupils with Autism and PMLD in classroom and individual settings.
Assist with planning and delivering tailored learning activities.
Promote positive behaviour and social interaction.
Work closely with teachers, therapists, and parents to meet individual needs.
Contribute to the assessment and tracking of pupil progress.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Experience supporting children with SEND, particularly Autism and PMLD.
Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping children succeed.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to adapt resources and approaches to individual needs.
