We are looking for a qualified and experienced Multi skilled Engineer to join our dynamic team based on the outskirts of Lincoln.
You will be site based working Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm
The role
1. Maintain equipment to optimal standards. Ensure all machinery and equipment are kept in peak condition, and document through diligent planned preventive maintenance (PPM) systems
2. Swiftly address faults and breakdowns and respond to production requests. Employ fault-finding techniques to promptly resolve issues and provide engineering assistance, communicating effectively with affected parties, and work efficiently to rectify problems
3. Minimize breakdowns and seek improvements. Keep equipment in good working order, identify opportunities to reduce downtime costs, and upkeep planned maintenance program
4. Plan for machinery downtime. Coordinate with production teams to schedule service, modifications, or necessary repairs
5. Manage spare parts inventory. Maintain stock of essential spare parts where practicable and procure parts for service and repair work
