Our client is seeking a proactive and strategic professional to lead regional resiliency and access management initiatives within a global investment environment. This role offers the opportunity to shape and influence business continuity practices across Europe while partnering closely with senior investment leaders, portfolio managers, and trading teams.
As the Regional Lead, you will drive the enhancement of business continuity frameworks, ensure alignment with UK/EU regulatory expectations, and support global programs related to access management and market dataernance. This position is ideal for someone with strong risk management acumen and an understanding of investment processes who is looking to make a tangible impact across aplex, fast-paced organisation.
Responsibilities
1. Lead regional oversight and continuous improvement of business continuity practices across investment teams.
2. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies across the EU/UK region.
3. Conduct advanced business continuity and investment access risk assessments, analysing testing oues and advising senior leadership.
4. Support the development of robust risk assessments, change management processes, control assurance mechanisms, and monitoring/reporting routines.
5. Develop and maintain effective metrics and reporting routines for continuity and access risk management.
6. Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of financial markets and investment themes to inform risk management decisions.
7. Partner with global teams to ensure consistent implementation of continuity and access policies.
8. Contribute periodically to market data vendor management activities.
9. Participate in cross‑functional initiatives and special projects as needed.
Requirements
10. Proven experience in business continuity, operational risk or operational resilience.
11. Degree or equivalent professional experience.
12. Experience supporting investment functions such as portfolio management, trading, operations, or operational risk.
13. Familiarity with automation and workflow tools (, PowerBI, Appian, Python) is advantageous but not essential.
