CNC Recruitment is seeking a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Operative to join a well-established client within in Honiton area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, problem-solving, and keeping operations running smoothly.
Location: Honiton area
Employment Type: Full Time Permanent
Salary: starting from £27k p.a. [£30k p.a. after the probation period]
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out general building and facility maintenance (interior and exterior)
* Perform routine inspections of equipment and machinery
* Assist with basic repairs to plumbing, electrics, and fixtures
* Respond promptly to maintenance requests or reactive tasks
* Maintain cleanliness and safety across the premises
* Liaise with external contractors when necessary
* Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used
Requirements
* Previous experience in a maintenance or facilities role
* Good understanding of basic plumbing, electrics, and DIY tasks
* Able to work independently and use initiative
* Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks
* Strong attention to detail and time management
* Health & Safety awareness

* A valid driver’s license (if travel between sites is required)
