About the Role:
We are looking for a passionate and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Wandsworth. You will be working with children who have a range of Special Educational Needs, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and develop essential life skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN (e.g. autism, ADHD, speech & language, SEMH).
* Assist teachers in delivering tailored learning plans.
* Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.
* Support pupils’ social and emotional development.
* Encourage independence and participation in learning activities.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with SEN pupils is desirable.
* Strong communication, patience, and empathy.
* Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
* Right to work in the UK.
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
