We have an exciting opportunity for Bid Coordinator based in the Nottingham office - this role comes with 2-3 days a week working from home. You will be responsible for taking ownership of the end-to-end commodity bidding process and creating winning propositions through leveraging the capabilities, solutions and services of XMA and its partners. Responsibilities include management of all commodity bid procedures and processes. LOCATION: Nottingham – hybrid with two days a week working from home once training complete. COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Warwickshire, South Yorkshire, Lincolnshire JOB SPECIFICATION: Graduate Bid Coordinator The responsibilities include, but are not limited to: You will be responsible for taking ownership of the end-to-end commodity bidding process and creating winning propositions through leveraging the capabilities, solutions and services of XMA and its partners. Alongside the Bid Director and your line manager you will also be responsible for: Managing the bid qualification process for new commodity opportunities. Managing virtual bid teams and inputs from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving contributions from sales, product teams, finance, commercial, legal and delivery. Preparing and reviewing the commercial aspects of the commodity bid, ensuring all products/services are included in the final price to the customer. Risk tracking and management throughout the bid process. Construction of any written elements - both in terms of content and presentation. Managing the bid budget. Ensuring timely delivery of compliant and commercially sound bids. Understanding and resolve complex technical, strategic and business issues. REQUIREMENTS: We are looking for a Graduate with either an English or Business Studies degree or Masters. An understanding of the bid process would be an advantage though this is not a necessity. This role would also suit someone who is commercially minded, flexible and open to changing priorities and managing multiple tasks simultaneously whilst working to deadlines. You must also be highly literate, an excellent communicator and able to manage complex, multi-workstream opportunities.
