An opportunity is available for an experienced Asset Management Optimisation Manager to lead asset reliability and maintenance strategy across multiple industrial sites in the UK. This is a senior-level role responsible for developing and deploying asset management frameworks, improving maintenance processes, and driving reliability initiatives across a large-scale manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering leadership and cross-functional teams to enhance asset performance, support continuous improvement programmes, and implement best practices in maintenance and asset management. The role also involves collaboration with international stakeholders and contributing to strategic initiatives focused on long-term operational efficiency and reliability. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and deployment of asset management and maintenance strategies. Drive implementation of asset integrity and reliability frameworks. Analyse and improve maintenance processes and asset management systems. Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in areas such as preventive maintenance and asset optimisation. Develop and monitor performance metrics and reliability plans. Support continuous improvement initiatives and reliability programmes. Collaborate with engineering teams across multiple sites and international stakeholders. Lead standardisation, documentation, and knowledge sharing across the organisation. Facilitate training and capability development within asset management practices. Support risk-based asset planning and expenditure strategies. Requirements Degree in Engineering or related discipline. Significant experience in asset management, maintenance, or reliability engineering. Strong understanding of ISO 55000 Asset Management Systems. Experience in maintenance process improvement and auditing. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to work across multiple sites and organisational levels. Strong analytical, structured, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in an international and collaborative environment. Desirable Experience in heavy industry or manufacturing environments. Experience delivering training or technical workshops. Knowledge of SAP or maintenance management systems. Experience in strategic asset management planning and condition-based maintenance.
