NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included. Responsibilities
We are seeking an enthusiastic specialist to work with two of our clinical team. The post is based in Possilpark Health and Care Centre (Northwest Glasgow) and Kirkintilloch Health and Care Centre (East Dunbartonshire) and relates to the Northwest Glasgow and East Dun, catchment areas. You would participate in all aspects of patient care, and multidisciplinary meetings providing consultant leadership and expertise. Services primarily receive referrals for opiate and alcohol dependency. Qualifications
Full registration with the GMC, MRCPsych or FRCPsych or equivalent and a CCST are essential. You must be eligible for approval under the Scottish Mental Health Act as an AMP. Those trained in the UK should have evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCST or eligibility for specialist registration (CESR) or be within 6 months of confirmed entry from date of Interview.
