PMO Lead Bristol 6-month contract Paying up to £70p/h (Inside IR35) Responsibilities : Leading the functional PMO and being the PMO point of contact, identifying solutions to any issues and taking action to resolve them. Responsibility for answering any PMO related queries. Developing the PMO strategy and implementing any associated initiatives. Building relationships with Group and senior stakeholders, leading PMO and governance related meetings/ boards and representing Mission Systems at Group level governance meetings. Owning the implementation of governance related change and improvements, including templates and guidance. In addition, the implementation and integration of governance/ project assessment tools, functional dashboards, best practice knowledge areas and any other future initiatives. Oversight and maintenance of PM governance related GBMS documents along with the transition of documents into Agility. Managing the adoption of governance documents that are not currently in use, reviewing and proposing documentation to implement and roll out amongst teams. Experience required: Experience in a similar PMO lead role, project delivery or project controls. A significant understanding of project governance and controls, with experience of implementing them on projects. Experience of leading and motivating direct and indirect teams and working with varying levels of senior stakeholders. Experience of implementing and communicating change across a matrix organisation.
