A leading manufacturer is seeking a skilled and driven Manufacturing Engineer to join its high-performance production team. You’ll be responsible for optimising manufacturing processes, driving continuous improvement, and supporting the introduction of new products into production. Working closely with design, quality, and operations teams, you’ll play a key role in ensuring thatplex assemblies meet rigorous standards for performance and reliability.
Your new role
1. Develop and implement manufacturing processes for precision-engineeredponents
2. Support NPI (New Product Introduction) and prototype builds
3. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve productivity and reduce waste
5. Ensurepliance with defence and quality standards (ISO, AS9100, etc.)
6. Use CAD and simulation tools to validate manufacturing feasibility
What you'll need to succeed
7. Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent)
8. Proven experience in a high-spec manufacturing environment (defence, aerospace, automotive)
9. Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles
10. Proficiency in CAD software and ERP systems
11. Excellent problem-solving andmunication skills
12. Eligibility for UK Security Clearance
