We are looking for a Sales Manager for a permanent position based with our client in Leeds.
Immediate start available (Subject to interview process)
Salary is £35,000 to £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)
UK and International travel maybe required.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan to grow downflow booth sales across targeted regions and sectors.
Identify new business opportunities, market segments, and potential clients.
Manage the complete sales cycle-from lead generation and qualification through proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure.
Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targetsClient Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships with engineers, procurement teams, production managers, and senior decision-makers.
Conduct site visits, product demonstrations, and technical presentations.
Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding client processes, containment challenges, and regulatory needs.Technical & Product Expertise
Maintain an in-depth understanding of downflow booths, airflow principles, filtration technologies, and relevant industry standards.
Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to prepare accurate specifications, quotations, and bespoke solutions.
Stay current with market trends, competitor offerings, and evolving customer requirements.Collaboration & Reporting
Work closely with marketing to develop targeted campaigns, product collateral, and digital outreach.
Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and market intelligence.
Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.Qualifications & Experience
Proven track record in technical sales, ideally within containment equipment, HVAC systems, cleanroom technology, or industrial engineered solutions.
Strong understanding of controlled environments, operator protection systems, and airflow/filtration concepts.
Experience managing complex, long-cycle sales processes involving multiple stakeholders.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
Willingness to travel regularly to client sites, both domestically and internationally.Key Competencies
