We are looking for dedicated Care Assistants to join our teams in Birmingham and London. This role is centered on providing high-quality, person-centered care to our elderly residents. You will be responsible for supporting their daily living needs while maintaining their dignity, independence, and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities
* Personal Care: Assisting residents with daily routines including dressing, bathing, and personal hygiene.
* Mobility Support: Using manual handling equipment to help residents move safely around the home.
* Nutritional Support: Assisting with meal times and ensuring residents maintain healthy hydration and nutrition levels.
* Social Engagement: Leading or participating in activities to improve residents' mental and emotional health.
* Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate, digital daily logs regarding care provided and any changes in resident health.
Required Qualifications & Skills
* Experience: Previous experience in a care setting is preferred but not essential; we provide full induction training.
* Values: A genuine desire to help others and a patient, empathetic temperament.
* Communication: Strong verbal and written English skills for effective reporting and resident interaction.
* Right to Work: Valid proof of right to work in the UK.
* DBS: Ability to pass an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
Training: Fully funded Care Certificate and opportunities for NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care.
* Shifts: Consistent rotas including early, late, and night shifts.
