They are opening three new children’s homes in Redcar and Cleveland, and we’re looking for an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead this exciting new service. Within the last 5 years, you must have worked for at least 2 years in a management position relevant to the residential care of children ; and worked for at least one year in a role requiring the supervision and management of staff working in a care role Background in nursing or relevant qualifications in senior care is highly desirable. Experience with neurodiversity care, or dementia care, alzheimer's care, and developing care plans is essential. Strong management skills with a track record of supervising teams effectively. Excellent leadership qualities that inspire confidence and motivate staff. Ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams. A commitment to providing high-quality care that respects the dignity of each child. Duties Oversee the daily operations of three children's care home, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Ensure colleagues develop and implement individual care plans tailored to each child's needs, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being. Supervise and support staff members, providing guidance and training to enhance their skills in medication administration and general caregiving. Foster a nurturing environment that encourages the development of positive relationships between staff, children, and families. Conduct regular assessments of care and adapt care plans as necessary to meet changing needs. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and outside agencies to coordinate care and interventions when required. Maintain accurate records of care provided, incidents, and any changes in children's conditions. Does that sound like you?
