Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Children's Support Worker to join our residential care team. The role involves providing therapeutic support and care to children in who have suffered trauma. If you have a passion for helping others and possess the necessary skills, we welcome your application.
Responsibilities:
* Implement care plans and provide support to children
* Communicate effectively with families, and colleagues
* Assist with daily activities and care tasks
* Utilise IT systems for record-keeping and reporting
* Drive children to appointments or outings as required
* Engage in activities when on shift
Experience:
The ideal candidate should have:
* Previous experience working with children
* Ability to follow care plans and provide high-quality support
* Strong communication skills to interact with children and colleagues effectively
* Proficiency in using IT systems for documentation and reporting
* A valid driving licence for driving children to activities and appointments

Schedule: Our rolling rota of 2 in 4 off covers

Education:
* Level 3/4 childcare (or we can enrol you on program)
* GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
* Support Environment: 1 year (preferred)
* RESIDENTIAL Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
* Driving Licence
