About The Role

Job Purpose

The Supply Planner is responsible for creating the brewing and finished goods production plans, that meets our customers requirements on time and in full, as well as managing inventory effectively, and minimising finished goods obsolescence. Key Result Area / Principal Duties & Responsibilities
4. Create a supply plan that balances efficiency, stock freshness, stock levels and customer availability. This will be for Ellon production and repack at Eurocentral.
5. Plan the finished goods for NPD and delists, to ensure new products launch on time, with all your own tasks to be completed on time and any risks flagged. For delists, minimise any write off of finished goods.
6. Monitor and maintain the inventory levels of finished goods, with a portfolio of over SKUs.
7. Review & develop finished goods inventory policies, making proposals for any changes.
8. Communicate any potential shortages or over stocks to supply chain and sales teams.
9. Coordinate with materials planning to ensure supply plans are achievable with materials plans.
10. Provide any insights or changes required to master data based on any run rates, lot sizes, inventory rules, to the owner of master data.
11. Interact with scheduling, packaging and brewing teams to agree on supply plans in line with inventory, service, obsolescence and efficiency targets – ensure all teams are aligned and understand the supply plan.
12. Create supply strategies to deal with different types of products and to manage events (e.g. shutdowns, seasonal peaks).
13. Identify long term strategic supply opportunities that create efficiencies and reduce cost within the supply chain and operations.
14. Undertake a critical role within the weekly planning & production meetings, ensuring all timelines are kept to, and all detail on supply plan for raw materials into our various warehouses is fully prepared.
15. Coordinate within the wider supply chain and production team to develop best practices and share knowledge.
16. Perform Root Cause Analysis and Continuous Improvement within the role, leading to reduced issues, and improved ways of working.
17. Assist in the development and implementation on any supply planning tools or system improvements.
18. Contribute to the S&OP cycle by undertaking analysis, or preparing content to present in the Supply Review.
Key Relationships - Internal & External
19. Key stakeholders are scheduling, materials planning, demand planning, packaging, brewing, procurement, maintenance and warehousing.
20. Other key internal stakeholders include NPD, finance and marketing.
Health & Safety
21. Ensure that Health and Safety guidelines and fire regulations are strictly adhered to at all times
22. Comply with safe working practices as defined by BrewDog
23. Complete online or face to face training as and when required
24. Take reasonable care for your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by acts or omissions at work
25. Report any accidents, incidents or near misses as soon as reasonably practicable.

27. Take part in crew reviews throughout the year
28. Cooperate with other BrewDog departments to achieve a great experience for our customers, applicants, colleagues, and contractors

training modules as required to meet the
requirements of the role

31. Undertake any other duties as requested which are reasonably deemed to be within the scope of the role or necessary for the smooth running of the business

About You

Qualifications & Specific Training A degree in supply chain management, logistics, business or a similar field is desirable. Experience
37. Demonstrable experience in a similar supply planning role, or similar, and preferably within an FMCG environment.
38. Demonstrable experience using ERP systems, including SAP.
Knowledge
39. Understanding of supply planning processes, including inventory policies and planning strategies.
40. Understanding of production & manufacturing processes and facilities.
41. Understanding of supply and production planning systems would be desirable.
42. Understanding of S&OP, and how supply planning contributes to this process.
Skills
43. Advanced excel skills and ability to manipulate and analyse complex data.
44. Developed in using supply planning systems, and how to drive the right outputs.
45. Developed stakeholder management and engagement skills, including communication and negotiation.
46. Developed organisational skills and ability to prioritise and adapt to changing needs.
47. Basic commercial awareness, including the impact volumes have on costs.

Additional Requirements
57. Preference for Ellon based role, but candidates in the Central Belt would also be considered.
