Job Description:
This is a career opportunity for someone with engineering project management experience to join a collaborative team in our Capital Maintenance Projects, delivering solutions to operational sites.
You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of capital projects, providing MEICA and Civil engineering solutions for wastewater, water production, waste, and water network functions, both above and below ground.
You will develop innovative, cost-effective strategies, fostering cultural change, business improvements, and embedding corporate values.
Role Responsibilities:
* Part of the growing Capital Maintenance Projects team.
* Manage procurement, framework suppliers, and subcontractors involved in site-based construction.
* Manage resources and support for Project Engineers.
* Provide estimates, planning, and programming support.
* Ensure project delivery aligns with program and client specifications.
* Manage site requirements to minimize operational impact.
* Ensure compliance with legislative, CDM, and safety standards.
The role is based at Maple Lodge, West London, with travel required. Hours are 36 per week, Monday to Friday.
Candidate Requirements:
* Experience in a commercial and technical engineering role, ideally with a degree or HND in engineering or business.
* Understanding of civil engineering, contracts, planning, estimating, and tendering.
* Proven project management experience in an engineering environment.
* Experience managing procurement and supply chains.
* Leadership experience managing up to 10 staff.
Benefits:
* Salary up to £66,000, plus car allowance of £4,500.
* 26 days holiday, increasing to 30, plus bank holidays.
