About the company
A long-standing organisation in the Northwest are seeking a Finance Manager to join their team, reporting to the Head of Finance and overseeing a small team of staff. The successful candidate will play a key role in day-to-day management of this busy finance function. This is an excellent opportunity for a Qualified Accountant with 3+ years industry experience who is seeking a rewarding and varied senior finance position.
Key responsibilities include:
* Preparation and analysis of management accounts
* Managing and developing a small finance team
* Year-end accounting and liaising with auditors
* Preparation of budgets and forecasts
* Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders
* Tax compliance
* Other ad-hoc duties as required
Requirements:
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 3+ years post-qualified experience
* Experience in managing staff
* Excellent IT skills
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to work to tight deadlines
