Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting passionate and adaptable Secondary Supply Teachers to work across a welcoming and supportive multi-academy trust of schools in the Chesterfield area.
This is an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers seeking flexible work, varied classroom experience, or a pathway into long-term and permanent roles.
The Role
As a Secondary Supply Teacher, you will:
1. Deliver engaging and effective lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 opportunities may be available depending on subject specialism).
2. Follow school policies and pre-set lesson plans where provided.
3. Manage classroom behaviour in line with school expectations.
4. Adapt quickly to different school environments across the trust.
5. Provide high-quality teaching and maintain positive learning environments.
Both day-to-day and longer-term assignments are available.
About You
We are looking for teachers who:
6. Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
7. Have experience teaching within UK secondary schools.
8. Are confident teaching their specialist subject (or general cover across subjects).
9. Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
10. Are flexible, reliable, and committed to delivering high standards of education.
Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply.

Assignments are based across a network of secondary schools within the Chesterfield area, offering convenient placements and consistent work within the same trust.
