Job Title: SEN Tutor Location: South East England, Surrey, Leatherhead Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time hours Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide tailored support and instruction to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Develop individualised learning plans based on students' needs Implement strategies to help students improve academic performance and build confidence Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff regarding progress and challenges Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities Required Qualifications: Recognised teaching qualification Experience working with students with SEN Knowledge of SEN legislation and best practises Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: At least 2 years of experience working as a tutor or teacher with SEN students Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of different learning styles and abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to create engaging and effective learning materials Strong organisational and time management skills Preferred Qualifications: Specialist qualification in Special Educational Needs Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting Working Conditions: The role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, providing support to students with SEN in an educational setting in Leatherhead, Surrey. The tutor may need to work closely with school staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for the students.
