Role
Communications Advisor – This opportunity is based at our Prestwick site.
Responsibilities
* Internal Communications: Drive employee engagement and ensure clear, consistent communication across the organization, including leadership updates, town halls, and the employee app.
* Content Creation & Distribution: Plan, develop, and manage content for print, digital media, presentations, and internal communications platforms.
* Event Planning & Coordination: Assist in the organization and execution of key company events, such as customer-facing events, employee town halls, and charity initiatives.
* Change Management Support: Contribute to communication efforts during the acquisition process and organizational transitions, ensuring smooth change management.
* Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR): Develop and manage CSR initiatives and partnerships, aligning with the company’s strategic objectives and local community engagement.
* External Communications & Media Relations: Support the creation of press releases, speeches, and thought leadership content. Manage the company’s digital presence across social media and the website.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, industry stakeholders, and government entities.
* Branding & Marketing Support: Contribute to branding and marketing campaigns to promote the company’s capabilities, direction, and industry positioning.
* Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate with leadership, HR, operations, and other departments to ensure cohesive communication throughout business operations and change processes.
* Visual Content Support: Assist in the production of corporate photography and videography to enhance messaging and content across platforms.
Qualifications
* Degree or relevant vocational/professional qualification or equivalent
* 3-5 years' experience in communications or related field required
* Strong written and verbal communications skills required
* Experience supporting events preferred
* Strong PowerPoint presentation skills to include content and style
* Ability to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Decision Making Authority
* Works with supervision, within reasonably defined processes.
* Will make decisions within scope of expertise.
* Complex or sensitive matters, or decisions with significant resource implications or impacting business strategy will be referred to a more senior manager.
