Spire Shawfair Park Hospital has a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and hard-working Integrated Governance Manager to lead compliance activities in conjunction with the HD, DOCS, and departmental managers, on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The ideal candidate will focus on Infection Control, Clinical Governance, Clinical Effectiveness, Patient Safety Lead, and Health and Safety.
Duties and responsibilities:
* Lead Integrated Governance and quality and compliance activity within the hospital
* Monitor and coordinate investigations of adverse events occurring within the hospital
* Lead clinical audits, promoting evidence-based best practices
* Assist in developing and disseminating patient safety information throughout the hospital
* Develop methods and processes to manage clinical risk
* Engage with colleagues on policy management
* Develop personal knowledge and assist others in their development
* Promote a culture that actively improves clinical safety and quality
* Monitor consultant information and coordinate reports to identify trends and support privileges review

* Degree-level education
* Root cause analysis training
* Experience in Clinical Governance
* Leadership in audit activities and training
* IOSH/NEBOSH accreditation
