Overview
Clerical Officer - WestMARC (West of Scotland Mobility & Rehabilitation Centre) B2. The role is based at WestMARC, Queen Elizabeth University Hospital campus, in the reception and filing room, supporting clinical staff and ensuring the smooth operation of the department.
Responsibilities
* Greet all patients and visitors in person and on the telephone at reception.
* Provide support to a wide range of clinical staff.
* Ensure the smooth running of the department, including opening and closing at the beginning and end of the day.
* Work in the filing room responsible for safe storage of patient records, ordering and maintaining stock levels.
* Organise paper and electronic records using alphabetic and numerical systems.
Shift pattern
Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 16:30.
Qualifications and experience
* Educated to a higher standard or have equivalent knowledge and experience.
* 5 years’ experience in an administration and/or reception environment.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels with members of the public, staff and senior management.
