Overview
Shipping Coordinator / Logistics Analyst. Would also suit a Supply Chain Analyst / Transport Planner / Shipping Co-Ordinator or Similar Planner with strong Excel Skills. Larne - Northern Ireland. Fully office based in Larne 5 days per week. This role would also suit an export & logistics specialist. £19.50 ph. Umbrella (FCSA Umbrella Company); £14.50 ph Paye. This role is deemed inside IR35. Duration: Initially 6-12 months, highly likely to extend & be longterm.
This is a great opportunity to work for a very ambitious well-known Local, Larne based Manufacturer & Service organisation that has a global footprint. They are looking for a very analytical Transport coordinator who has experience within freight, shipping and EU/Worldwide export regulations. If you have worked within an organisation that exports high value products this would be a great fit.
Responsibilities
* Managing Inbound & Outbound Logistics in accordance with the Business unit inventory policy and initiatives and with SOF principles and requirements.
* Preparing delivery documentation for products, parts, and materials for shipment and routes following customer instructions.
* Handle all shipping & export documentation for high value products, within project deadlines.
* Participate in regular Export compliance audits.
* Clear imports of purchased parts in a timely manner and other items in accordance with Customs relief procedures.
* Compile reports to ensure all processes are streamlined and efficient.
* Liaise with Suppliers, Shipping and Project Managers on timescales for installation.
* Be IT literate and have a good basic understanding of Excel.
* Must be experienced with ERP systems and Import/Export software or Customs Reporting systems; experience with any ERP (SAP, etc.) would suffice.
* Experience of Containerised Shipping and knowledge of documentation requirements for exporting goods, including Export controls (Incoterms and EAR).
Qualifications & Experience
* Strong Excel skills and IT literacy.
* Experience with ERP systems and Import/Export software or Customs reporting systems.
* Experience in containerised shipping and export documentation.
* Knowledge of export controls, Incoterms, and EAR.
Location & Logistics
Fully office based, 5 days per week in Larne, Northern Ireland; no hybrid options.
Contract & Rate
* Inside IR35.
* Duration: Initially 6-12 months, with high likelihood of extension and potential for long-term engagement.
* Salary: £19.50 per hour (Umbrella); £14.50 per hour (Paye).
* Interviews will be held for an immediate start.

The client is open to applicants who have logistics & shipping coordination experience and may consider applicants outside of the stated rate band on a case-by-case basis.
