Assistant Site Manager – Durham
£40,000 – £48,000 + Package
Edge Contracting are recruiting for an Assistant Site Manager to join a growing contractor on a long-term project in Durham.

The Role
You will be working on a large remediation scheme across multiple buildings, supporting the Site Manager with day-to-day operations.
Duties will include:
* Assisting with the management of site activities and subcontractors
* Ensuring works are carried out in line with HSE standards and RAMS
* Monitoring quality and progress on site
* Supporting with site documentation and reporting
* Coordinating labour, materials and deliveries
* Attending site meetings and liaising with the wider team
The project includes:
* Removal of existing brickwork
* Installation of fire barriers within cavity walls
* Installation of brick slip systems
* Potential internal fit-out works
Requirements
* Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager or Site Supervisor
* Background in brickwroks, remediation or external works
* Strong understanding of health & safety and site procedures
* SMSTS or SSSTS (preferred)
* First Aid (advantageous)
Package
* £40,000 – £48,000 (depending on experience)
