Support apprentices to achieve Early Years standards through coaching, mentoring and training delivery. Use your safeguarding knowledge, EYFS expertise and assessment skills to drive learner progress, Functional Skills, and high‑quality outcomes across early years settings.

Job Overview
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Early Years Childcare Apprenticeship Training Advisor / Learning Coach to mentor and guide apprentices through their programmes, aligning delivery to EYFS and apprenticeship standards while embedding safeguarding and inclusive practice.
As an Early Years Childcare Apprenticeship Training Advisor / Learning Coach you will plan engaging training, carry out progress reviews and assessments, and provide constructive feedback that builds knowledge, skills and behaviours. You’ll liaise with employers to create purposeful on‑the‑job learning.
The Early Years Childcare Apprenticeship Training Advisor / Learning Coach will also support Functional Skills, maintain compliant documentation and champion wellbeing, equality and health and safety across early years environments.

Duties
* Conduct Learner Inductions: complete comprehensive onboarding and initial assessments
* Plan Engaging Training: deliver tailored sessions aligned to the Early Years curriculum and standards
* Assess Progress and Feedback: review work, set targets and provide sector‑specific guidance
* Embed Safeguarding and EYFS: reinforce child development, health and safety and inclusive practice
* Liaise with Employers: coordinate on‑the‑job opportunities that meet industry expectations
* Monitor Achievement: track milestones and support timely completion of assessmentsSupport Functional Skills: provide English, Maths and ICT support where needed
* Provide Pastoral Care: help learners overcome barriers to learning and build resilience
* Maintain Compliance Records: keep accurate documentation for funding and regulatory bodies
* Champion Equality and Wellbeing: promote safe, inclusive and positive learning environments
Candidate Requirements
* A background in Early Years Education or Childcare with a minimum Level 3 qualification
* Experience with EYFS, safeguarding, SEND and health and safety in childcare settings
* Proven experience of coaching, mentoring or training delivery for apprentices or learners
* Experience with assessment and providing constructive feedback to drive progress
* Experience with Functional Skills support in English, Maths and ICT
* Strong communication, organisation and time‑management skills with good written English
* Proficiency with ICT and confidence using technology to enhance learning
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively with employers and colleagues
* Commitment to CPD, quality and safeguarding
* Full driving licence and own transport
* Willingness to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service check
